Location

Microbiology department is situated in first floor of the Main building of the Medical College.Following laboratories are functioning in the department

a) Main laboratory for routine Clinical Microbiology studies

b) Serology laboratory

c) Special serology Laboratory for ELISAs

d) Mycology Laboratory

e) VCCTC- Voluntary confidential counseling and testing centre

f) RNTCP sputum examination Centre

g) Automated Blood culture & Mycobacterium culture (starting soon)

h) Annex at IMCH for Paediatrics & Gynaecology Depts
