Government Medical college, Kozhikode .Kerala state was recognized as MCI Regional centre for Medical education technologies as per order no: MCI-Academics/2011/9157 dated 10-05-2011.Under the regional centre the first basic course workshop was conducted from September 1st to 3rd ,2011 .

- The first Basic course workshop for Medical faculty was conducted from Sept 1st-3rd ,2011 at Medical college Campus.Number of faculty trained was 31.
